While searching the Internet, it was getting ridiculous how many hits and websites the theory of apocalypse has. For a theory, the hits ranged from books, movies, videos on YouTube, to blogs. Any sort of media that can be used to spread and influence others, the theory of the “world ending” was there. I chose three very different types of supporter of this apocalypse to share to show they aren’t crazy. There are regular people, like you and I, that have formed a belief on the day December 12, 2012 the world will end. James George Janos , better known as Jesse Ventura, former Governor of Minnesota, Navy SEAL, actor, radio and talk show host formed a conspiracy theory of the apocalypse. Lawrence E. Joseph, an author of Apocalypse 2012, is about his personal exploration of a strange coincidence, that both ancient Mayan prophecy and contemporary solar physics indicate that the year 2012 will be pivotal, perhaps catastrophic. Finally, a psychic Edgar Cayce, predicted a very mystical and spiritual coming of a New Age. Cayce talked about how we’d enter into a New Age that would be known for three things: purity, global consciousness, and a height of spiritual consciousness that we have yet t0 encounter.
Uncovering evidence, Jesse Ventura, searched for Top Secret underground bunkers being built all across the United States to prepare for the burning fire and flames that will come destroy Earth. TruTV aired a show with Jesse Ventura hosting called Conspiracy Theories with Jesse Ventura. Available to watch on the Internet, it is believe, according to a steaming site of the show, “that the world is heading for disaster in 2012 and the government is preparing to save and protect the elite- while leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves. Jesse Ventura uncovers the evidence, and the Top Secret underground bunkers being built in places ranging from the Nevada desert to the White House, including the largest, now under construction beneath a major metropolitan airport.” Time is of the essence as Jesse Ventura chases down the 2012 conspiracy. It began as an ancient Mayan prediction that the world would come to an end. Now, experts reveal solar storms may lead to catastrophe in the very same year.
Over the past twenty-five years, Lawrence E. Joseph has written on science, nature, politics and business on five continents for publications including The New York Times, Discover, and is the author of Apocalypse 2012. He believes that solar flares will wipe out our power grids, while plagues, famines, and droughts will wreak havoc on our population. Running his own website, panic is not the reaction we should take when “this day comes,” rather we are many resources to prepare, endure, and hopefully emerge from the disaster. Different from Jesse Ventura, helping everyone to emerge from the disaster is the goal. Jesse Ventura believes the government is preparing to save and protect the elite- while leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves.
Lastly, Edgar Cayce is one the most famous psychic of the 20thcentury and probably one of the most famous ever. The predictions he made did not point specifically to December 2012. His predictions are, “Watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico.”
What Edgar Cayce did talk about is the change of an age, or the New Age, the Aquarian Age. He gave quite a bit of information on what this New Age will be about, what this transitional period is all about, and what we can expect. According to an interview, Cayce talked about how we’d enter into a New Age that would be known for three things: purity, global consciousness, and a height of spiritual consciousness that we have yet to encounter. This belief or vision of Cayce is unlike any belief of the previous two believers. The only similarity of all three believers is that we can prepare for this either disaster or New Age. The spiritual aspect of Cayce is not mention on the other two. It seems that that New Age is a global change that will purify the world. This brings consciousness to the world with others to eventually bring peace. We will eventually be able to communicate with the Divine, a higher power, to reach out to others to bring harmony.
All three believers are different in their own separate way. They all truly believe something will happen within in year.
